DIRECT-TO-GARMENT (DTG)

DTG printing is a digital form of printing, designed to work with 100% cotton garments. The process works much like a traditional inkjet computer printer, but for apparel! DTG utilizes the latest technology to provide a solution to printing smaller orders (less than 48 pieces) with an almost unlimited number of colors in a design. For many customers, this is a great way to get full color prints on just a few shirts. Before DTG there was no real cost effective way to do such a thing.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen Printing is a form of printing in which ink is pushed through open areas of a mesh screen stencil, transferring ink to the desired substrate. It is also known as silk-screening. One color is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to compose a multi-color design. Our screen press can accommodate up to 10 colors. With screen printing we can also incorporate a variety of special effects such as metallic foils, and specialty discharge inks. Screen printing is generally the most cost effective print method for large orders (over 48 pieces), and can be used on a vast array of garment types.

EMBROIDERY

Commercial embroidery is a decoration method whereby a commercial embroidery machine is used to create stitched designs on a garment, or just about any type of textile. The design must first be digitized to create a sew/stitch file, which is then run on the machine. Our machine can accommodate designs with up to 16 colors. This decoration method works great for company logos on polos, or caps.

rhinestone motif

A rhinestone motif is a transfer made up of hot-fix rhinestones that have been arranged in a particular order (usually in the shape of a logo, or text). The transfer is then heat pressed onto the garment, giving it a beautiful sparkly effect. Rhinestone motifs work best with 1-2 color designs, and can be applied to just about any type of textile.

VINYL HEAT TRANSFERS

Vinyl transfers are apparel "decals" that are cut out of special textile-compatible vinyls. The design must first be vectorized, then cut out of a single color vinyl material using a digital vinyl cutter. The decal is then adhered to the garment by applying heat and pressure. Unlike older vinyls, most of today's heat transfer vinyls are rated to last over 50 washes, and are compatible with all sorts of materials. They are also available in many types of styles including glitter, holographic, neon, and glow in the dark. Because each element and each color in a design must be cut out individually, vinyl heat transfers work best with 1-2 color designs with minimal detail.
